about the I AM MY CITY non profit arm

I Am My City is dedicated to empowering students through hands-on experiences in STEAM, nature, and community initiatives. By providing diverse programs and opportunities, we encourage students to explore the wonders of environmental science, land exploration, development, architecture, engineering, and sustainability, while also fostering a deep appreciation for the natural world and their local communities.

Through workshops, field explorations, mentorship from industry professionals, collaborations and interactive projects, participants engage with experts in various fields, discover the intricacies of the environment, and learn the importance of civic responsibility. Students build practical skills in land development, design thinking, civic engagement, and environmental stewardship. Our programming fosters creativity, instills purpose, and equips students to acquire land, access resources, develop farmland and community-driven solutions rooted in both natural ecosystems and the built environment. Our initiatives instill confidence and ignite curiosity, ultimately shaping the next generation of innovators and leaders.
