About I AM MY CITY PARKS

I Am My City Parks 501C(3) is a youth development initiative that empowers students to become leaders, creators, change makers, and responsible stewards of the environment. By exploring the intersections of environmental science, land development, architecture, urban planning, and sustainability, students gain the skills and mindset to make meaningful impact.

With support from foundations like yours, we deliver immersive, hands-on experiences that integrate CREST, STEAM Talks, and our N.A.T.U.R.E. Framework connecting students to both community and rural environments. We bridge education with real-world application.

Through workshops, field explorations, collaborative projects, and mentorship from industry professionals, youth build practical skills in land development, design thinking, civic engagement, and environmental stewardship. Our programming fosters creativity, instills purpose, and equips students to acquire land, access resources, agriculture and develop community-driven solutions rooted in both natural ecosystems and the built environment.

The N.A.T.U.R.E. Framework guides participants through six focus areas:

Natural research sciences to explore ecosystems and environmental systems;

Architecture to understand sustainable design and spatial planning;

Technology and engineering to apply tools that shape sustainable development;

Urban planning to learn how land and communities are developed; responsibility and sustainability to practice environmental stewardship;

Environmental exploration to investigate land use, farmland, and multi-purpose space activation.

A standout example is our partnership with Curry Motorsports, where students are engaged in designing a mobility park in Michigan, blending engineering, environmental planning, and entrepreneurship in a real-world, future facing project.

Your support enables us to expand this transformative programming and inspire the next generation of leaders and problem solvers.
